View Full Version : FX 5900 issue solved !!!

Dear all,

After having asked so many questions on how to solve this issue, I am glad at last to inform you about how I solved my display issues with this FX 5900 card. (I had like many full screen issues...)

- Install from guru3d driver 45.20

- Anisot. on 4 or 8 x

- AA on "application manages AA"

- Inside the game , AA "ON"


That is the only one setting that solved all my troubles. I used to selct AA from the card directly and put it "OFF" in the game but I still had some full screen issues.

Now, everything's fine !!!!

Thanks. 4X didn't do me any good but with 8X I have partially solved the problem of new buildings coming into view being just gray blocks and not lit at night. With 8X, all other things the same, if I snap to a side window view and back, I get my buildings to paint correctly.

It is NOT a pause issue. Hitting P twice has no effect but snapping to a side view does. With AF off, I had to hit the alt key twice.

But I have gone back to my ti500 with the 44.67's. I may try the 45.20 again with the 8X AF and see if I can solve the problem entirely.
