There is a new nvidia driver in windows update (at least in XP) It is a winner. Settig AA to 4x and off in FS2004 it just looks perfect. Aircraft skins shine and there are no rough edges. Landing on RW 4R at Chicago Midway with the entire skyline in the distance is dramatic.

Not sure what driver you are talking about. I installed the Nvidia driver version 44.67 recommended by Microsoft for those who use the Nvidia graphics card. Works great and the graphics are perfect. What are you talking about when you say you turned the AA to 4x and off in FS2004? I assume you mean the Anti-Aliasing?

I downloaded the driver from windows update within windows help. I had downloaded drivers from nvidia and guru3d but they wern't the same as these results. When you go to update it looks at your system and gets the latest driver recommended. This one was new just recently as I had been to update just recently. AA meas anti-alaising.

You go into dispay settings and drill down to section under gforce that allows picking wheter the game or the card is used for AA. It gives you a choice of settings.

windows update is under help and support in the start menu. If you haven't been there before you'll find all sorts of security parches and other program updates.

OK....I found them. When you go to the Updates page make sure you can access the Updates Catalog. If you can't click Personalize updates, and you will see it there. You need to access the catalog in order to find the drivers.

NOTE: If you are referring to the 4.2.5.8 driver, the ONLY hardware shown on the compatibility menu are Dells! Do you have a Dell or is the compatibility list wrong.
Thanks

It seems Nvidia pulled 44.67 off the sites for some unknown reason but you can do a search or download it from the below site.
