I was wondering how LAX and the Los Angeles region looks in FS2004.

I sure hope it does! I can barely recognize it in FS2002. But, at the Santa Monica Airport, I was SHOCKED to see Cloverfield Park was there. Well, more of a patch of green where it should be. But, 23rd street goes down and right by the end of the runway in the "real" world, but in FS2002, I dont think 23rd street even exists, neither the downward slope at the end of the runway. Gizbug, u think you could take off from Santa Monica Airport(towards the ocean), and give me some screenies? Thanks.

It would nice if MS made another "Expansion Pack" like they did years ago for FS95 of the SoCal area. OK I live thousands of miles away in Britain, but I want to LA a few years ago, and bought the expansion pack there and it was great for it's time! :)

Cool, thanks. I like the runway textures. Hmm... about the park, oh well.

It looks pretty good. Can someone post of pic of downtown LA so i could see if the staples center(which is probably not there) is in fs2004.

I downloaded an LAX package... looks much nicer... palm trees etc.. so the 2004 version is not close to what I have.

Really? Where'd you get this "SoCal" package? I've been looking for SOMETHING to improve the surrounding area. I'm out of Oxnard and Camarillo (pronounced "Cam-a-rio", not "Cam-a-rill-o" like in FS2002...)

CWTrustno1,

No way! I'm from Thousand Oaks! Pretty cool, finally, some one can relate to me with the horrible scenery at Camarillo Airport!
