I grew up, and learned how to fly in Scottsdale. I have been around the world flying with the Navy, and am now on the Florida coast. I love it here, but it is great flying all around the Phoenix / Scottsdale area. I hope the scenery graphics match the aircraft visuals we have seen in the screen shots. I am looking forward to taking off and landing at Scottsdale airport!!

that new texture of the control tower is alot better than 2k2.
do all of the smaller airports have that particular control tower?

The tower reminds me of the one in Jane's USAF!

Hi
I did see now a lot of screenshots of the upcoming FS2004 and I must say overall I am very satisfied from what I see. I am eagerly waiting for the release and I will be one of the first buyers here in Switzerland.
The only thing (as far as textures are concerned) I still do not like are desert / dry country textures. I mean if you look at the first picture above, it still looks to me more like a leopard skin that a dry countryside or desert.
I think if the textures are a bit farther away and the visibility is reduced to get some haze effect it is somewhat better.
I think for FS2006 should really work on their desert textures. If they do such a great job like on the clouds and water textures for FS2004 I will be more than happy.
