tip: The author mentions it took him a while to get the hex codes for the right colors. I once searched and found sites that have color wheels that you slide around and they give you the hex codes for colors. I used this at one point to build a webpage. Good luck.

Hi,
Ihad once used the Hex editir to change the nighttime colors on the illumination on the GPS unit. Apparently they did not change with the rest of the panel.

Thsi editing is simple BUT tedious to get it all right. And always, make a backup!

There is one area of color editing that needed to be addressed, The dark blue colors on the GPS gauge, showing the VOR's. Even maximizing the GPS display, the dark blue was hard to see. I inquired about this to a few editor guys, and they still had no clue as to how to change the colors in the GPS display.
