View Full Version : ILS on PSS Airbus 320
Hi,
Is there an easy way to use ILS-landing on the PSS Airbus 320 like it is in Dreamfleet 737/400? I havenīt find any GPS gauge in the Airbus to guide me towards the runway.
Where do I set Indicated airspeed in FS 2002 aircrafts?

I don't have the A320 for FS2002, but I have the PSS A340 for FS9. You need to read the manuals and tutorials for this aircraft as the FMC is heavily used. Basically, you have to find the ILS frequency of the runway, and plug it into the FMC using the RAD/NAV button.
The autothrottle is selected or deselected by using the left and right mouse buttons on the speed knob and then using the mouse buttons to increase or decrease the speed. Again, the PSS manuals need to be consulted. The PSS airbus does not use GPS as such. Instead it uses the ND(navigation display) to indicate the route.
On other aircraft, the airspeed is set in various ways depending on the aircraft type, usually, either by selecting autothrottle and speed/mach buttons and increasing or decreasing by moving the mouse to the left and right of the speed knob or numerical indicator for plus or minus. Some use a knob on the airspeed indictor itself for adjustment.
There are many different aircraft available on FS2002 and FS9 and there is a higher or lower learning curve depending on the detail and complexity of the panels. I would check for any readme files to clarify aircraft operations.
Hi,
Thanks for Your advice. I shall try the ILS via the FMC.
