Did you do the 3D objects in GMAX by any chance? If so, making them FS2004 library objects is a snap.

Nice. I'm going to download it on Monday (it should be up by tomorrow, but I'm very busy for the next 3 days).

...right. Which airport (KIAD, 2IAD, 3IAD) do the airlines go?

Excellent, as a dedicated FS2002 user it's great to see folks still making addons. Thanks very much for your efforts.

I tried gmax several times witout succes as it seems that win2000 pro and gmax do not get along. I read some where there is a patch or fix for this but I get good results using EDO and libs. At this time I do not have FS2004 but it takes me a while to catch up :-)

All overlays are used. As I have AI set to 100% congestion on approaches and departures becomes a big problem so to reduce the go around rate I opened up the runways to all traffic. I realize that your traffic.bgl would not have any traffic going to the 2iad and 3iad overlays(oversight on my part) but i can send you my flightplans.txt,airports.txt and aircraft.txt files and you can complie them using ttools.

Or you can use ATIM, by: Thomas Molitor to arrange your AI percentage into the various overlays and then compile the result to form your new traffic.bgl.
As an example say you wanted to move all or part of united airlines flights from KIAD to 2IAD.
1-. Open AITM and open up your flightplans.txt file – takes a minute or two to load up.
2-. Select the Move Tab. In this tab you will see all airlines you have installed for your AI. I use PAI
packages.
3-. Scroll down till you get to the united box and select it( check mark)
4-. Select Source ICAO(KIAD) and destination ICAO(2IAD) – this represents the to from movement of
flights.
5-. Next select percent (whatever you like 1 to 100) – will move the percentage you put in from KIAD to
2IAD.
6-. When AITM confirms that X amount of flights have been successfully moved you must save the modified flightplan, then using ttools recompile your traffic.bgl file.
It sounds long winded but it really takes minutes to accomplish.
Should you require assistance in doing this please let me know.

Misunderstanding. Which airlines move to which ICAO airport?

That will be based on your preferences.\ for example I have International flights going to 2IAD and most domestic going to KIAD with most if not all of my old time airlines going to 3IAD(Eastern,Pan Am, Air Florida etc. So it is entirely up to you to assign the AI flights as you see fit.

Could you tell me at least which terminals are at which AFCAD, so I can figure it out?

Okay, here's what happened.
2IAD: All US airlines.
3IAD: All foreign airlines.
KIAD: All Air Kevin aircraft.

By the way, how do you make taxiway signs?

Hi All,
Finally got the thing done. Here are pics of the upload..
As usual it takes a day or so for flightsim.com to check and place it to download.

Here are shots of each Afcad showing the ramps associated with each particular AFCAD, KIAD, 2IAD and 3IAD.
