Maybe you were flying from a place other than your home, and the date at that area was different?

I have seen this happen both in FS 2002 and 2004. The situation is being saved in local time, but Greenwich date. Here in the central USA, we usually see the opposite effect. If my computer tells me it's the evening of 9/2/2004, and I save and reload, I find my flight was saved on 9/3/2004.

I'm guessing you're in Australia or Hong Kong, in which case London might be one day earlier than your local day.

Yep, does it all the time, FS2000 used to do the same. Each time you load the sim you lose a day so if you load it up a few times a day you can end up weeks behind in a few days. Some folks never seem to have the problem which i can't see why. FSUPIC has a box that you can tick that is supposed to stop this happening but i still get it a day behind each time i start. I just change the date to the correct one each time i load the sim. One of lifes' little irritations but nothing much.
