View Full Version : what buttons do u push to deploy a parachute???

the last time i posted this type of question i got 2 responses. one of them was very hlepful, the only thing is that u didnt tell me what buttons to push to do it. anyone that knows plaese tell me.

Hi Dave,

That particular aircraft (SR-71 Blackbird), uses the backslash / key to deploy the chutes...........

Sorry to say, It's not just a matter of pushing a button on the keyboard, but rather the chutes are programed into the model file when the aircradt was designed.........I haven't a clue as to how it's done?

Sorry about my unhelpful response in your previous thread, but I had misunderstood your question.

Regarding what button to push, the parachute deployment has to be programmed into the original model. As far as I know, you can't download random aircrafts and add parachutes.

The SR-71 that Randy showed you is an example of an FS aircraft that was designed with a parachute. There are probably others.

My Suggestion: Try searching in the flightsim.com file library for "parachute". Im sure it's in the description for most planes.
