Aircraft suggestion

I was hoping some of you guys could suggest a decent DC-3 freeware aircraft which flies and looks decent without a huge framerate hit. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Jan Visser's DC-3 is excellent. There are repaints out there for many airline liveries as well.

Check out this site, it gives great tutorials on how to fly the DC-3 accurately by the numbers (easy to learn). They provide some practice flights and instruction on how to use different panels that come with their planes. The tutorial is broken down into different phases of flight, (pre-takeoff, takeoff, climb, cruise, etc). Look around their sight, it's an excellent source of information.

A quick search using Google.com found this site with several repaints of Jan's plane. There are many here at Flightsim.com as well in passenger and cargo versions.
