ON SCREEN MENU [Archive]

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THE ONSCREEN MENU WON'T WORK WHEN PRESSING THE ALT KEY? I NOTICED THE PROBLEM AFTER I INSTALLED GA737-400 & FLIGHT ONE DC9 SOFTWARE. I KNOW HAVE TO PRESS CTRL+ALT+DLT AND COME BACK TO IT FOR IT TO WORK PERIODICALLY.

When I have had this problem with the ALT key not working after installing something, I have always found that reinstalling the video card drivers has fixed the prob.

Also to let you know, CAPITALS indicate yelling in chat lingo :)

Back in my Nvidia days I had a problem with some versions of Detonator drivers whereby the alt key wouldn't bring up the menu like you've noted. The fix (not a great one, but it worked) was to disable anti-aliasing. If the reinstall results in the problem again, you might try that as well.
