View Full Version : Ready for Pushback 747
Is this a good payware plane to buy. I was wondering if it was

I was wondering the same thing myself. I compared it to the "shape" of the POSKY 747-200 and they are quite different so I'm wondering who's correct?? RFP or POSKY?
From what I have seen so far I like the way the POSKY 747-200 looks more shape wise (even if it is FSDS). The RFP 747-200 looks like the "hump" on the back isn't large enough...almost a little too flat.
Any comments from anybody out there??

I don't know about the shape of the aircraft, - I bought is because of the panel - which I always do when I buy a payware aircraft.
Its not photorealistic like DF737, but there are lots of buttoms. I think there are 445. And this panel combined with the classic s-combo is great.
If you start with a dark and cold cockpit you have 30 A4 pages of checklists to go through. It takes me 30 minutes just to be ready for taxy.
So if it has to be advanced and realistic I think the panel is worth the money.
But if you like to do a CTRL+E and then take off - its not the panel for you :D

I can really recommend RFP 747
this is a truly classic and complex aircraft!
now, ig you think the hump looks better on poskys 747.....
well..then we look for different things...how's poskys panel..;-)
check out the RFP forums at
and don't forget to install the Delta Carousel triple INS as well..!
as already said...this is not a ctrl-e or a GPS flight.
this is steam and checklists :-)

What kinda hit does the virtual cabin have on performance? The talk of the FPS being knocked down because of it has put me off, as i don't have one of the best systems around (until october tee hee).
