After installing an ATI 9500 Pro I get an occassional loud, feedback type of noise only in FS2002. When I hit pause it stops. Is this a power problem? I've got a 360W Enlight feeding a CD, CDRW, 2 hard drives, 512 SDRAM and the card. Anyone else have that happen?
Thanks,
Todd

The standard install of ATI drivers for that series of cards puts something called the ATI Multimedia Center. You may want to check and see if that has taken over some of your default sound players....it might be the cause of the feedback. Also, did you plug in the external power jumper for the card? (Does the 9500 have one?) Did you plug your speakers back into the wrong jack on the soundcard when you put everything back together?
Just a couple of places to start looking.

Thanks for the help Mike. I checked the Multimedia Center and the only thing I could see that might affect it were .wav files were set to play by ATI, but the only other option was to select WMP, not my on-board AC'97. I have the ATI power cable plugged into the card, then routed through the hard drive then to the psu, as suggested in the manual. I'm wondering if I have to many devices drawing juice away from the card, so disconnected the extra hard drive and might try the CDRW also. I can always plug it back in when needed, until I get a new psu, if that's the problem.
Thanks again,
Todd
