Is there a way to create a left side for the default cessna in fs2002.
I just want the "604" changed from this:

so it looks like this:

Thanks

When RealAir Simulations re-worked the flight dynamics for the default 172, they also just used a mirror image on the left side. Apparently it takes quite a file change to do it.

Avsim library --- RealAir Simulations 172SP. This file was reworked for a flight school. It has the benifit of improved slips & spin ability.

It takes more than a file change, it takes a whole new model! Microsoft mirrored the textures in the default 172 from side to side to increase performance. That means that unless you've got access to the original gmax file to change the texturing, you're stuck with the mirroring. Believe me, I tried to fix it! Just as a tease, they included a patch of the left side in the default textures that looks as though they planned to have an area that could accept lettering on the fuselage in a non-reversed fashion, but they don't appear to have used it for the final model. This is the sort of thing you will often run into when repainting the default aircraft.
