Depend which aircraft and which airport, when I press Y and teh back arrow to push back the planes go strait forward and I can have it to back up. Anyone knows the problem and what I can do?

Thank you

LAST EDITED ON Apr-12-03 AT 07:14AM (EDT)[p]There is an easier way: press shift+p and the aircraft moves backward by itself. Press 1 to point the aircraft to the left or 2 to point the aircraft to the right. Press shift+p again to stop the push-back process.
Good luck :-) !

And just to add a little to the previous post...

Y is the slew button. This means you can change the orientation and position of your aircraft without having to fly it there. The fact that your plane goes forward when you push the slew button seems to suggest that your joystick is improperly calibrated. If you can press the Y button and then pull back on your joystick, this means that your joystick needs to be recalibrated.

I have found similar problems with the Y slew mode: Some aircrafts seem not to work properly within the slew mode. Everything seems fine with GMAX planes. That's what I have found so far.
