I think that it would be interesting to have weapons in fs2002, and was considering downloading some weapons packs from planesimulation.com. Have any of you ever downloaded weapon packs from there or if you have, are they worth it?

Thanks for responding,
Chris

LAST EDITED ON Apr-05-03 AT 09:32PM (EST)[p]Weapons? Interesting? In a civilian flight simulation? What for? Perhaps you're just bored? If that is so, take a look around. There's lots of things within FS that can keep you busy:

Instrument flying
Helicopter flying (see us at: http://members.shaw.ca/hoversafe/Hoversafe.htm )
Aircraft repainting
Scenery design or enhancement
Aircraft design
Virtual Airlines

or, you could purchase Combat Flight Simulator. It comes with weapons that really shoot. Then again....maybe you don't want your enemy to shoot back.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-05-03 AT 09:42PM (EST)[p]Oh, don't worry. I'm not bored, merely interested. I have made dozens of effects and repainted several aircraft, and I'm part of a design team. I also own CFS2 and CFS3. I'm just looking for something different.

not everyone uses MS2002 for a civilian sim. I've never flown a civlilian plane in in yet. I find that boring, I fly strictly military planes and the reason for flying them in MS2002 is because I can hit Airbases that I have been to for airshows.

I had some of the weapon effects at Planesimviation. I got the 6mth membership. The guns and missles work good on the A-10 and helo's plus they have some very nicely detailed bases.

If your going to purchase the weapons go for the 6mth membership and then you can get alot more offered ;-)
