fs2002 certain aircraft peculiarities

I have downloaded 2 aircraft/Panels in particular that have the following problem.
Ist panel is Boeing 707 By GJ Carty (excelent panel except for mentioned difficulty)
2nd aircraft /panel (complete package) is AFG YS-11

Hdg control( whether autopilot or manual) will only increment/decrement in 10 degree steps
Altitude control Whether autopilot or manual) will only increment/decrement in 1000 feet steps.

Both problems are common to both planes /Panels

Any idea what the problem is (all original 2002 Designs)

Having FSUIPC installed, within FS2K2 go to the modules menu, select FSUIPC, go to the technical tab and activate 'fix control acceleration', that's it.
