Can anyone give me an advice about this? In gmax after using the mirror option from the menu, the final result in FS2002 is that part being transparent! What kind of modifier (or other process) must I use to avoid this? Thanks in advance.

You could try applying a 'normal' modifier and flip the normals in GMax (make sure to re-convert to editable mesh afterwards). But quite honestly, I find this to be a hit-or-miss experience, in that it sometimes works, sometimes not. I'm not sure why mirroring gives some much troubles in FS.

I would check the display normals box to show which way the polys are facing then select all the polygons (or the ones that need flipping) and flip as necessary.
One can zoom inside and see the polys while working on a part but when I work on an interior of the fuselage sometimes I turn the polys inside out to see them easier and flip them later when I'm finished.
