OK, I know it's long overdue and I've actually done nothing to it in months and I'm sorry to all those that keep emailing me and all that, but it's now in the library so I can get on with finishing a certain 727 now in peace :-)

Hi Paul and all sim friends,
Thank you Paul for the beautiful panel. The A-310 is becoming my favorite liner which I rate as high as the 737-400 of DF, even though it does not have the FMC. By the way your panel proves also that the 3D is not an absolute necessityand that a good 2D is realistic enough. Your side and rear views are super. I like also the call-outs.
One little question : I have been clicking all around but could not find any autobrake button. Perhaps there is none. Also there is no TO/GA button, I suppose the A/T + SPD buttons do the purpose but I am still experimenting.
Thanks again for this nice piece of work and best regards.

JF,
I believe you'll find the TO/GA on the normal view mode (F5). However the autobrake question is a good one. I notice while on the ground, the only indicator that works or lights up is "low". Med and Max don't do anything. While in the air though, not even the "low" indicates so not even sure if anything is armed or not. I know Paul doesn't want to spend too much time on solving problems with the panel, but just in case he's reading this, maybe an autobrake do-over would be well received. Such a great looking panel this small update would really make it complete.

I wanted to make sure folks saw my question, so what visual/flight models do you all use?

Hello Joe,
Try the AF320.zip (corrected with SA320UPD.zip + nightex.zip). this is a very good looking and flying A-320 (not A 321 but there might not be that much difference at least for the outside appearance). It is very easy on frame rates
You can also visit the site :

and find several liveries, all very nice.

Hello Steve,
You are quite right about the autobrake problem and as you say it shouldn't be too difficult to patch it so the gauge works 100%. I'm sure Paul is going to spare an hour or two (or perhaps less or more as I haven't the faintest idea about how to program such a thing). Aren't you ,Paul ?....if you read this message that is......
On the other hand I still could not find the TO/GA button. What do you mean by normal view mode ? I undesrstand it is without the A/P and radios pop-up. Can you tell me exactly where to find it. Furthermore, on my machine the F5 key has no effect.
Thanks and best regards,
JFC

JFC,
Turn your "number lock" key off and then try hitting F5.
Steve
Thanks I meant A310. Found the answer on another thread.

Steve,
Turning NUM LOCK on or off "ain't doing any difference, man". What is "normal view" mode anyway ? I've got the main 2D panel (which by the way is almost as nice to use as a 3D, and more legible) and if I click on the second icon from the top I get the full A/P slid to the left and giving all the functions. The other icon give the head panel. I take it that there's no pedestal.
Can you please give me more info if you can in order to find that ?§§??&?? TO/GA button.
Thanks
JFC

Hey JFC,
Not sure what you're doing wrong. Not at home right now so can't look at it and give you more detailed instructions. In the meantime, have a look at some of the "read me" files that came with the panel. Instructions are given there as to how to swithch to the normal view. This is a view you "should get" by pushing F5, if not try just plain 5. This is the view of the complete panel and not just the pilot's view which you get when start up whatever aircraft you're using. In other words, the view is what most other panels look like, the whole thing. Again check out the read me files and I think it's also mentioned in the "panel.cfg" under it's pretinant window, which is (if I recall correctly) #37. Let me know how it goes.
Steve
