Hi i just upgraded today from a GeForce2 MX400 to an ATI Radeon 9000PRO 128 MB.

Here's the problem. All my game works very good. In CFS2 i get about 50 FPS compared to 25 with the GeForce. In all the games i can see a big jump in performance but not in FS2002. In fact it's worst than with the GeForce. I had to lower the details to get the same frames i had with the GeForce. Anti Aliasing seems to be dead, edges of planes looks like saw blades.

Any idea on this problem?
I'll probably reinstall the game tonight.

I reinstalled FS2002 and still no change. I got new drivers too. I give up i'll play other games. I have 80fps in Unreal compared to 35 before...

You need to try as many drivers as possible until you either have exhausted them all with no luck or find one that works for you. Make sure that Antialiasing is on in your video card's menu but off in FS2002. Both on at the same time will make them cancel each other out. Plus, remember that you still paid for a relatively budget card. It's a great alternative to the more expensive 9500/9700, but designed to compete with the GF3 Ti nevertheless.

Think you've got computer problems? You haven't until you've installed the latest version of FS!

Thanks for the answer.
I use the latest drivers which works very well in all games. CF2 works very good. 40-50fps with everything at max setting.
I'll have to check for the antialias. I didn't see anything about it on the card settings. There is a anisotro-something, i can't remember the name :-lol .
The fact that there's no upgrade in performance doesn't bother me, it's the fact that it's worst than before. If i can solve the saw blades edges problem i will be satisfied with my purchase.

At least the card works very good on all my games.

Next buy will be memory. Currently at 256Mb going to buy 512MB. 768MB seems enough for me... :):)

Thanks again
