Everytime I bring my FS2002 up for some cross country flying, I have to reset my "Altimeter" hot key. Before my computer crashed, I didn't have to reset it each flight. What's different?

Another problem: when I land at an airport, especially with FSNav engaged, I can't seem to STOP the airplane (Heavy jets). I switch the A/P off, and the AT, AND the IAS as soon as the FSNAV clicks off at the threshold, in order to try to obtain control of my speed so I can safely turn off of the runway. None of this helps. Sad to say, I've crashed MORE times after I've landed than any other time because of this. Pushing F1 and then holding F2 down doesn't seem to help either.

Problem #3: I got a tip one time from someone on this forum about how to lessen the turn radius on MD-83's in particular. This aircraft, the way it's set up now has very little turn radius. This can be controlled while pulling out of parking by pushing back a couple of times, but I can't get the thing off the taxiway and onto the runway for takeoff without going off the opposite side of the runway.

Any help would be appreciated.
