a website with inexpensive, bare-bones graphics cards?
All the sites I have seen so far have cost-increasing TV-out and DVI-out and all that rot. I do not want or need the extra fluff, all I want is a top of the line GPU and 128 Megs of DDR Memory with out all that other garbage. Is that so hard?
So please, if there is anyone with any idea on where to get something of this nature, please tell me!

Been there, thanks anyway. All those have TV out as far as I can tell. How much does that add to the cost anyway? Is there a site where you can customize your card?
By the way, pricewatch disagrees with mozilla, which I use.
I used internet explorer to access it, and most of the cards have all the fluff. How come card manufacturers think that everyone who wants a high power GPU also wants the junk?

When I bought my TI4200 128mb card {which I returned and got my $$ back} the card without the TV out was $169.00 and the one with the TV out was $189.00. Glean from that what you will.

Try www.googlegear.com .
Please note that it will be difficult to get a barebones G card. Normally the lowest you can go is an OEM Graphics Card thta only has one monitor output but still a video out. Question: If you are going to buy a top of the line Graphics card (As the 128mb versions are), the upgrade to a dual monitor, tv out video card is probably less than $10. Well, it's your desicion. I myself would get a graphics card that is a bit better and be assured for the future.
Also please remember that whatever site you buy from should have at least some profecional recommendations, such as the BBB or Gomez. Normally if they do, they will display a sign showing the certificate. This assures that the company ois no boggus one, and they will not steal your money.

Why did you return it? What was the problem? Just curious.
Thanks,

LAST EDITED ON Dec-10-02 AT 06:25PM (EST)[p]Southie; I returned the card because it just didn't improve the quality of the graphics as much as I thought it would. There really was no noticeable difference from the card I have now. Maybe I was excepting to much, but I didn't think the differnce it made justifyed the price.
