I want to use my gameport CH Rudder Pedals with my CH Flightsim Yoke USB. I know that there hase been somee discussion of this in the past, but I could not find anything pertaining to 'How to set it up'
Any direction would be appreciated cause I want my rudder back!

LAST EDITED ON Dec-07-02 AT 10:51PM (EST)[p]I have a gameport joystick connected to CH pedals and then into the gameport socket. It's the only way I can get Windows to recognize them for calibrating. It works quite well with my USB yoke. And I don't have to do a lot of switching around to fly the occasional helo either...

Interesting! So its possible to just plug in a cheap or old and broken joystick into the pedals and then pedals work !

Basically, yeah. The joystick's an older Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital. The software is still on my system (dunno if that makes any difference). When I open gaming options to calibrate the Logitech, it gives me the option to set up the pedals. They don't appear as a peripheral in setup, though. Only when I calibrate the joystick. They're always there even though my CH yoke still disappears occasionally. hmmm...

All you need to do is hook up any old gameport joystick to the rudder pedals and calibrate the pedals with the old stick. Then you can just move the stick out of the way and plug in the usb yoke and you should be all set. Just go in to fs2002 and select which joystick and axis you want. My current setup is:

CH Yoke USB
CH f16 stick gameport (not used)
CH pro throttle gameport
CH pedals gameport

I have heard that you can buy a gameport to usb adapter and get the pedals working through that, but I haven't done that myself.

Thanks for the info, I'll try that.
