FF Pro 2 setting inabled

Hi Guys
Since I have tried to work with FSUIPC calibrating my Force Feedback Pro 2 joystick, I can't change the power settings anymore! Have tried everything: uninstalled the game controller software and installed again. When I change the settings to "light" and go back to FS, it is turned off completely. I have then to restart FS and then it's turned back on "hard". This is a drag for some airplanes...
Windows has detected this problem with FF Pro 2 and XP (home), but there is no solution given.
Can anybody help me??

I have an FF2 and I'm think that it never need to be calibrated. Not sure about this, but my stick is running perfectly without no calibration for more than a year.

As a possible solution for your problems, try to rename your FS2002.cfg file, in the main sim folder, and then restart the sim to recreate a new fs2002.cfg file with default values.

Perhaps it's also a good idea to do the same (rename for recreate) with the FSUIPC.ini file, in <YourSimMainFolder>\Modules
