Is it possible to turn flight plans made with Nav Data 1.3 into FS2002 ones, so that they can be flown using the FS2002 GPS autopilot, which is more precise than the Nav Data's FMC system ?

cdekeyse,

I don't use NavData so I'm just going to guess ...

Many such programs have an "export" facility which would allow creation of output in one or more formats different from the program's own native default output format. (There might be an "import" facility too. I simply don't know.)

If this feature exists in NavData it probably would be one of the items in the File pulldown near the upper left corner of the program's main screen.

Now ...

Let's see if someone who REALLY knows will give us a better answer.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply... Nav Data does have an IMPORT module in
the flight plan window to convert a FS2002 flight plan to the Nav Data format, but no EXPORT facility. That's why I'm looking for an add-on conversion software, which doesn't seem to exist.

Kind regards,

Cedric De Keyser

Hmmm I'm interesting in exporting flight plans to Navdata format.

Send me a few samples, and I'll write a converter for you in exchange for testing if my exporter to navdata works.

If your interested drop me an email alstoer1@compuserve.com

Regards.

Ernie.
