Auto Pilot, Atc [Archive]

Just recently I cannot set the A/P in any of my models. While I can set the altitude, heading etc, A/P can't be activated. Also I do not get any audio from my ATC nor do all the numerical pads return a response ie can't make contact or get a response from anyone. Haven't tried reinstalling FS2002 for I am concerned that all my special down loads might be relaced by Default.
Any suggestions?

I beleive that by default the "Z" key turns the autopilot off and on. As for you atc probelm the numerical keys at the top of the keyboard are the only ones that will work with atc number selections. Reinstalling leaves added planes, and gauges in there flolders I belive and will not over write them.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the Z and numerical keys function. What I did do was save all the files I had downloaded then uninstalled FltSim02 then did a complete install. Every thing is now working okay.
