Joystick choice

Can anyone help with this? Will a CH Yoke/USB clamps fit on a desk with a 2" moulding? My CH Yoke/Analog will not.
If not, can anyone tell me about their experiances with Saitek 45 for use with FS2002.

I have used them both and seem to recall that the clamps are about the same. What I did was to put a half inch board on the desktop and sat the monitor on that for weight. The board was positioned to extend a couple of inches out over the desk's moulding and I clamped the yoke onto it.
