XP ATC Problem

Hello all -

This is a new one on me. *MY* half of the ATC conversation is missing. When I contact tower, etc I hear nothing but the reply.

System is:
Athlon 1.4
A7M266 mobo 512 DDR
OnBoard CM Audio
GeForce4 TI4600/128M
Detonator 3140
XP Pro SP1

I don't have the *usual* problems associated with SP1 - menu's and FSNAV are fine, just this one issue. I *assume* it's SP1 related because, although I don't use the XP system much, it's something I would have noticed.

I may have missed it but I haven't seen anyone comment on this issue before. Thought I'd run it by here before I start useless tweaking on a wild goose chase.

Anyone seen this before? Any fix?

Make sure "Pilot Voice" is checked in the Options->ATC menu.

It was but no pilot voice had been selected. Since I haven't gone into that area since I set up the sim.....another FS2k2 mystery.
