Could anyone give me directions on how to add an existing virtual cockpit to a plane I downloaded? Thanks

Unfortunatly, you cannot add a virtual cockpit to a downloaded plane. That's because the virtual cockpit is part of the aicraft model, and as such it cannot be added or replaced, just as a panel or sound set.

No, unless you can get the original designer file from the author. But, I wouldn't count on that.
The only other option to do so is by designing a complete new aircraft yourself. But being a novice, you may find that to be somewhat too much right now.

hmmmmmmm,Well I guess I have no options then. My question now is why dont designers use the existing VC's in their planes? The real 777 767 and 757 a pretty close cockpit so why not use it. Is it a copyright infringment to do that?

You simply can't do that either since you don't have source files for the original planes...
