Panel Problems

When I have a panel turned on in any of the views it prevents me seeing anything else but it. The remainder appears black and so I have to turn it off. How can I fix this? Please help.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-12-02 AT 09:03PM (EDT)[p]Long shot but make sure in your video drivers transparency is enabled, whether through your specific card's setup or trying dxdiag.exe if that is available in your Win utilities. Don't bother with dxinfo, if you have it, it gives all the incorrect results.
