has anyone else had the problem, that after press E + 1 to select engine 1, you cant select back to both engines or engine 2, engine 1 just stays selected. Also, is it possible to turn during pushback, i have followed the fs2k2 instruction to press 1 or 2, but it doesnt work.

Cheers, Aled.

Part one of your question, I think E alone will do the trick, you just have to hit it several times ( that one I'm not sure on, so don't quote me on it...I'll have to look it up ). As for part 2 of your question, that can be a bit tricky and everyone seems to have developed their own techniques on it; but from what I can gather, 1) you have to wait for the a/c to push back it's full legth before it will turn 2) Do not switch views durring push back or it will negate the turn command 3) Some 3rd party a/c do not support the turn fucntion, only the push back, so it you're not using a default plane, you may be outta luck on that one. There may be more little tricks to getting the a/c to turn, but I can't think of them at the moment, so hopefully some others will post some more.

Best Regards,

Bob

As I understand it (works for me), you do E, then 1 and 2 quickly. As for turning while being pushed, no, which equates with real life anyway. ;-)

FS assist from LAGO has a pushback and turn function which is programmable on most aircraft, also the direction and angle are programmable. All engines have to be off before pushback commences with this program. Of course it is the push truck which is turning the aircraft which is the same in real life.

I don't know if this even applies, but when I put in the newest FSUIPC.dll all hell broke loose with my panel gauges not work properly, ATC boxes not showing up, shutting down FS to desktop without any error messages....... Just a thought. Hope it helps.

No problem on my system.

Engines -- must push (e+1+2) very quickly. Sometimes takes multiple tries to get it to work.

Pushback -- start from external view, make sure brakes are OFF, (shift+P) wait until aircraft has started moving, then push (1) or (2) to turn. Push (shift+P) to stop the pushback.
