hi guys

I was holding short at KORD and watched a KLM boeing 747-400 come in for landing with NO flaps! plus he landed hard enough to create a crate the size of the grand canyon! In fact, almost ALL the AI planes land like they stalled at 1000 ft.

I know whatcha' mean, few weeks back was holding short of the runway in a 777 behind a long line of United planes ready for takeoff at O'Hare, well this United 737 (or maybe A320, couldn't tell) came in and landed with a 10 degree NOSE DOWN pitch, 1/4 mile short of the runway!!! Safe to say in real life that plane wouldn't have rolled onto the runway and to the gates, THATS for sure! Don't even get me started about the AI GA aircrafts landings...

Mmm

I hope you are not suggesting that these are "bugs" in FS2K2 that should be fixed ? :-) :-)

Take a look at this post I made a while ago with some screens of some AI 'activity'.

LOL. Yeah I was holding short at Coolongatta airport waiting for a Twin Otter and watched it approach too high, then bounce midway down the runway up to around 500 feet again and head off to the next destination!! freaky or what??

Maybe Microsoft did it on purpose just to make us feel better when we mess up a landing

No, Microsoft did it on purpose to save the system resources for something important...
