Hi Fellas
Got a problem running FSX De Luxe edition ............. An irregular but frequent rasping sound which is accompanied by brief visual jerk (Yeah, yeah! I know it's a bad word to use but that's what it is) It's a sort of low frequency Brrrp sound. Anyone old enough to remember Rose Murphy's song?

- I put a Nickel in the telephone and dialled my babies number,
- got a BRRRP - BRRRP - BRRRP ....... busy line. ...................Well, like that.

Anyway running with Windows 7 home and got Photographic scenery (GB) Vols 1, 2 & 3 loaded and Service Pack 1.
Other relevant info I guess is:- Intel Core i5 2400 / Barracuda 500Gb / NVIDIA GeForce GTX550 Ti 1GB. Otherwise the system performs really well, tried reloading etc.

Sure could do with some ideas...................
Cheers Jimwing

Hi Adam, Yep headphones. Not all sliders are set at max. You mean enviroment, speech vol, engines vol, cockpit sound and stuff like that? Been playing around some, trying to sort the problem out.

what soundcard are you using? In my experience having a Soundblaster, sometimes I have major sound issues from crackling, burping, etc to where it just all of a sudden poops out completely. Soundblaster says it's a problem between their card and NVidia & Asus motherboards. I had to change the sound quality in windows to dual channel for it to stop doing it reliably.
