Hi guys, yesterday I purchased Aerosoft's Antarctica X and am just blown away with the job they did on it.Compared to the default MS rendition there is no comparison, the package took me 5 and a half hours to download,it is 7.35 Gigs and includes their Twin Otter on skis just in case you don't have an appropriate aircraft as most of the flights down there are long distances. If you think Alaska is desolute you have no idea what Antarctica is like....huge,open and nothing but hostile environments to try your skills in!This is one of the shortest flights I could find,Base Marambio to O'Higgin's Skiway,I used my Maule on skis, the package also includes the flight plan for the yearly ferry operation from Alberta Canada down to Punta Arenas,Chile to bring the Twotters in to service the bases.Lots of flying options with this one and it was only $20.00 USD at PCAviators "deal of the day" thing.

Looks like the new freeware Basler DC-3 on skis would be a nice plane for this scenery.

The screenshots looks outstanding Gary!!! I thought about buying it but for me anyway i think it's a little to remote, there are a couple of Orbx scenery's i haven't gotten as of yet for the PNW, but who knows down the road.:)

Great shots, that really does look like a gigantic step forward from the rather underwhelming stock FS rendition of Antarctica.
