Hi there - I just downloaded and installed Calclassic's Boeing 377 Stratocruiser. Everything seemed OK during the install and all the files are in the right places but the airplane is not showing up on the "Select Aircraft" menu. Anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Is it an AI plane only or is it a flyable plane?

You might like to check the [fltsim.X] reference in the aircraft.cfg file is okay as I've had problems before with aircraft not showing up in the selection pane due to this problem.

Jim - it's flyable.

mau - The aircraft config file says [flightsim.0]. I have no idea what it should be changed to, or if it should be changed.

Make sure Show Variations is On, on the FS plane screen.

Check the plane for a panel.cfg file in the panel folder.

Gentlemen - Sincere thanks for your help. I found out what the problem was. For some reason, I have two FS's on my computer. One is in C:Flightsim 9, the other is in C:Progrm Files(x86)>Microsoft Games>FlightSim 9. I have no idea how or why this happened but the install program put the AC in the Program Files(x86) folder.

When I installed in the other file it popped up just as it should.

If e.g. the panel-folder is missing then it will not show up. The same is valid for inconsistencies in model and airfiles, referered to in the aircraft.cfg.
