Hello All:
I'm writing to ask about the Pilot Shop. I purchased a downloaded add on from the Pilot Shop which I am unable to install in FS 9 due to apparent unadvertised limitations of the "wrapper" on this particular software. I have emailed repeatedly and placed telephone calls asking for help and gotten zero response. All I get is automated voice mail and automated email response. This is my first experience buying something from the Pilot Shop and I am very surprised by the lack of support. Is this generally the case with them?
Any thoughts appreciated.

No, it's not. They're generally spot-on...What was the AddOn you purchased? :confused:

It was REX 2004 and I was denied a remote license for my FS rig which does not have internet access. All I could glean from the web page was that some downloaded add ons do not support remote licensing, but I can't get anybody to respond from the PS so I don't really know.

You do realize, I hope, that this site and the pilot shop are two totally independant entities, separate from each other. There really isn't much relief for your situation in these forums. You will just have to be persistant in your quest for a solution with the folks who run the pilot shop.

As far as the support from the pilot shop, they have always been great to deal with.

All:
I am posting to apologize to the Pilot Shop at www.FSpilotShop.com for my rant yesterday about lack of support. I had a call from Michael this morning and he explained to me that the "Pilot Shop" where I made a purchase with which I was unhappy is a different "Pilot Shop" based in Australia. The Pilot Shop to whom I am apologizing are known for their prompt response to issues, so my rant was misdirected entirely.
Once again, my sincere apologies to Michael and his team.
