I downloaded it and installed all the scenery. And I want to know how to get it to work.
I got it before to work , but that was over a year ago and I don't remember how to.
When I click to open it while FS is running it doesn't seem to be connecting.
It sais FS2004 connection status: Okay, FSUIPC Ver : 3.510 (some keys not available/allready located)
So, why isn't it working? And when I opened Arrestor Cables 2.6 the first time after opening FS it said something like this one or more programs are not credited or able to connect to FSUIPC because FSUIPC is not registered or full version ( I don't know how it was worded exactly for that message) .

Have a go at using rcbco (sometimes spelt rbco) version 2.0 instead. The dox for that says that it is a replacement for Arrestor Cables. Also, you should, apparently, upgrade to FSUIPC version 3.9999, although that is not that critical.
I got it all working very straightforwardly after one stupid error on my part. It is very robust, easy to configure, easy to use.

The file you want is rcbco-20.zip . It does not need a registered version of FSUIPC to work.
There is a version three, but that is only for FSX.

hey. I got it with what you said and it worked for carrier take-offs and arrestor cable landings and the Meatball gauge worked also.
Now can you answer this? How do I add the things for rcbco to get it to locate new carriers?
Do I need to somehow put in the arrestor cable and catapult location things shown in the carriers files
and add them to RCBCO dsd. zones or what?

Two choices.
If the carriers are "well-known", for example they are available here from downloads, then you can also download their matching dsd_arrester_zones.ini entries. This is by far the easiest method.
If they are not, then using the Position gauge, you will need to manually (and somewhat laboriously) slew or taxi to all four corners of the arrestor zone and catapult zone(s) on each carrier, note the latitude/longitude, then put all that into the file.

I have Carriers2006 download, and I would like to get them to work for the Meatball gauge and
to work for arrestor cable landings and catapult take-offs using RCBco-20.zip: Carrier Operation Package for Military Jets .

Yeah, that's here somewhere, you can search for it just as well as I can. :)
