Hello everyone.
I am trying to see if anyone that has a Full version of the XPX can post some pics, or just confirm that what I see / posted is the same as what you are experiencing.
A couple of things that I am trying to confirm:
1-Out the front window visibility, see my pic on the KSEA 16L, I want to see if Mt. Reinier 14410Ft. is visible. That is only about 41NM away from the airport.
2-Can you resolve any thing more that I do at around 2000 Ft. on a heading of 310, i.e. buildings, mountains etc., see the MSFS pics
I also posted some pics of the MSFS to give you an idea of what I expect to see. Thanks. TV

I don't think it's a problem on your end.........what you are describing is a known issue/limitation that I hope will be patched/fixed. I have a full version of XP10.

There is no problem with your install.

That's the X-Plane "fog / haze effect" used to get better framerates.

X-Plane 10 has very poor urban environments due to the use of Open Street Map.
You might want to compensate by using UrbanMAXX (freeware or payware) which replaces the green grass city base textures with urban textures. http://maxx-xp.hiking-pa.com/?page_id=6

If you want more buildings, you might need to do it yourself by using OSM2XP (http://osm2xp.com/) together with Open Scenery X (http://www.opensceneryx.com/)

OK Thank you guys.
I was not sure if the Demo was the same.
I would not mind getting into some add ons, but at this point I am not sure if I want to invest too much time until they upgrade the engine. Oddly enough the XP9 seems to have better rendering, I hope they fix it. TV

This is off topic, I know, but I thought XPlanes cessna VC would be better than the one from FSX
