View Full Version : Anyone else using the Realflight Interlink Elite controller?

I am using the radio control simulator Realflight's Interlink Elite controller with Flight. Very nice! Very natural for anyone used to radio control flying. One odd change that 'seemed' to occur after the update last week was that the Gear Up/Gear Down function which I have mapped to Switch 2 (top right) was changed by the update. I am sure that, prior to the update, if the switch was on then the gear were up. Period. I could go to the map and back and the gear would stay up. Now Switch 2 is a toggle. If the switch is on and the gear are up and you go to the map, and then return, the gear go down and stay down until I flick the switch off and then back on. Very inconvenient. That is a button action rather than a switch action. Almost everything on the controller, other than the sticks, are switches, not buttons. There is only one button (#1 - reset) that I use to start and stop the plane. I have the switch at the top left on the front as brakes (both) and the three position switch on top at the left as trim, down - away from me and up - toward me. Mostly it works great, but I do notice that if I leave the brakes on I can't set the parking brake and the brake switch also effects the run/walk speed outside the plane, sometimes one way and sometimes the other. Very odd.

Has anyone else noticed this? I will be running this by MS but I just wondered if anyone else had noticed the change.
