Been playing with Flight collecting aerocaches.

Logged on the other day and it showed I had collected 31 aerocaches
I collected 4 more for a total of 35 and logged off.

Next time I logged on I was back to 31. I collected a couple more and logged off.

Today, I logged on and was back to 31. I picked up some more for a total of 37.

Logged off. and this afternoon I logged on again and was back to 31.

What't going on. I have no desire to refly the same aerocaches.

"Flight" is not without issues right now. Example.... trying to fly with another person has many issues. Today, I tried to fly with a friend. We just couldn't do it because even though I was on the runway at the pre-determined airport... he (the person i was trying to fly with) was 30 miles away.

It has Many issues... I hope MS fixes them!!!!

After doing some research on games-Live forums, it turns out that the aerocache system was broken by the update.
Classic - Fix something, in the process, break something else.

After giving MS Flight team the benefit of the doubt, I'm seeing little Benefit and a lot of Doubt.
What happened to their quality-control department. Someone should be fired. (Wait!...if they fire someone,
it may take six months to train someone else before it gets fixed.)

My latest experments:

I have Flight in both my laptop and desktop. I wanted to test to see if the aerocache problem was related to the upgrade.
I removed Flight from my laptop and redownloaded it. After downloading The system recognized my profile from
LIVE and gave me Hawaii. However on my laptop I showed 0 aerocaches. My Desktop still showed 31 aerocaches.
Loading Flight on my laptop it asks if i want to load the update...I click NO. Then Flight loads normally.
I reflew the first four aerocaches and checked to see if they were logged. They were, so I exited the game.
I checked my Desktop Flight for my pilot profile and it still said 31 aerocaches.
I then loaded Flight on my laptop and guess what?......No aerocaches even though the update was not loaded.

Conclusion.....The aerocache problem seems not to be a result of the update but of LIVE's system updates.

Jim..."Sigh.... I don't get it..." Well I don't either!

Hoping for a fix SOON!

They are aware of the problem and are working on a fix.

From the Facebook page...

Update: We've created a patch to fix the aerocache and stat-saving issue. It's currently in testing. I'll keep you posted as it progresses through the certification and release process. Thanks for your patience!

peace,
the Bean
