I am trying to use my FFG DC-10 that I downloaded with FS2002. I know I've seen these tutorials somewhere, so can someone point me to where I can learn how to use FS2000 planes in FS2k2?
Also, can anyone tell me where to read about how to stop my plane from being called Experimental by the ATC?

FS2000 planes are almost fully compatible with FS2002. You need to add lights section to the aircraft.cfg /search the Web for smth. like "FS2002 adding lights"/. Also, some gear position correction might be needed. Search for "nose wheel sinks into ground" AFAIR, that's all. If I'm wrong someone pls correct me.
As for "Experimental", just read http://www.homepages.mcb.net/bones/04fs/fltsimcf.htm

G'day
Freeware Flight Group issued an update on May 12 2002 to bring their fs2k aircraft eg Dc-10-30's up to fs2k2 requirements.
Go to http://avsim.com/ffg/ and click on "Updates"
