All,
I was installing a new download the other day and I accidently overwrote file FSSound.dll with an earlier version. Now when I start FS2002 I get a message that possibly incompatible 3rd party software is being loaded. Is there any way I can replace this file with the original? I can't find it on the FS2002 CDs.
Thanks,
Wavy Davy

I did the same thing recently, and fixed it by just adding an entry in my fs2002.cfg file. The entry, which can be added at the bottom, reads:

[list=1]
fssound.dll=1

Just remember you need to replace my angle brackets around OldModules with square brackets, which this message board doesn't display.

if you write &l; and &r;
you get the &l; and &r; just as intented!

nothing wrong with the board, feel free to check the

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't complaining about the board, just didn't see that in the reference.

Hey Bill,

Did you read those characters? My old eyes couldn't figure out if they were 8d and 8cl!. Finally, figured they were &l and &r. Think I just say Nels provided a broken board!:-lol

&l;what&r; - :-hmmm

If you are receiving that error message you have an old version of FSSound.dll. The current (FS2002-compatible) version is;
1.5.1
and is shipped with Bill Grabowski's ERJ panel, among others

With this version, the .cfg file mod is no longer required.
