If so, how? I can't seem to find it.

End your Free Flight Session if you are flying. In the world map just drag the plane icon around. Then when you start your free flight, you are there. Different when you pick an airport then start a flight from there (job).

You don't even need to end your session. Just go to the map screen - press M - and drag your plane to where you want it and then press M to return to your flight.

You can leave the airplane (E) and then "walk" around. But no slew as we used to have with FS9 or FSX (with different movement speeds).

I haven't found slew, it might exist but lots of controls have changed and lots removed completely. One which has changed is engine start up/shut down is 'b' which last time I saw in an MSFS it was 'brakes' in CFS. But yes, lots of controls have changed or been lost completely.

Slew does not exist. You can use the Map to quickly move from place to place.

Well, technically nothing has changed, as this is a new program, and not an evolution of the Flight Simulator franchise.
Having said that, if you look at the flight.cfg file in the usual hidden Application Data/Microsoft folders, it looks surprisingly
similar to previous .cfg files. Here's an interesting snippet for your consideration:
[Traffic]
AirlineDensity=0
GADensity=0
RoadDensity=0
ShipsAndFerriesDensity=0
BoatDensity=0
IFROnly=False
AirportDensity=0
