How many have tried MS Flight? I found it disappointing. Graphics were good, but many of the usual MS key commands no longer work. Also, my GoFlight GF-TQ6 throttle quadrant was not usuable in "Flight". The instruments were not readable in the virtual cockpits because you can no longer use the zoom feature. I know FSX is held as the premier product for the MS flight simulation franchise, but I was expecting more. The other problem I had was my settings for my controllers were not saved. I had to reprogram them every time I launched Flight. The target audience for Flight is gamers who have not been part of the flight sim community previously. I purchased the Hawaiian Islands expansion pack. I will admit, the level of detail is impressive. I also noticed more turbulence in small aircraft than I have ever noticed in any of the previous versions of flight sim I have owned. My first experience with MS flight sim started with FS 95 and progressed with FS 98, FS 2000, FS 2002, FS9 (FS 2004), and ending with FSX. There was no way I was not going to try Flight. It just doesn't seem to build much on any of the previous releases. I am curious as to others impression.

Hmm sound's promising. I'm thinking of buying but find the price of the downloads too expensive.

Wait a minute, didn't you just TRY Flight already?

Flight is like FSX in that if you reprogram your controller bindings and then the program crashes, you will lose your changes. I recommend that you make your controller changes, then restart Flight. That will permanently save your bindings.

+1 Saratoga! Not only in MS Flight will you loose your bindings, but every thing you've done that wasn't saved to the net in your pilots log.

Yeah they should have put some kind of warning on that.. but I think it would have given the wrong impression given this group, ie "You must be connected". :)
