You aren't going to tell me that the 747 doing the go-around was attempting to land on the AC carrier are you?

What are those 2 dark/black rectangles attached to the rear of that 747?

No, arrestor hook was not deployed ! ;)

Go around after KBOS (http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?245318-KBOS-scenery) missed approach ?

I have great news about this default X-Plane 10 aircraft carrier. It was a payware add-on for X-Plane 9, this is now freeware for X-Plane 9 users:

Happy flying !

I think it is trying to do so. In XP10 you generate a set of AI and it will be fixed where ever you are. So if you are in a small field, and you configured AI set to have some heavies, then they will be there in that field or trying to land on that field.

No the 747 wasn't trying to land on the aircraft carrier. it was just doing a go around because there was an a320 on the runway it just flew over the carrier. and i just happened to be on the carrier to get a shot of it......
