As you may know, many people try to strengthen their frame rates with FSX on their PC by just going to settings and setting the frames to Unlimited. On my computer, I do that and still get low frame rates. Is there any freeware or payware tool out there in the internet world to fix the frames so that they can just stay above 20 to 30 or less? And if someone says "just lower your scenery settings" tried it already and it doesn't work, plus i lower everything to 0 and still low FPS. HELP ME!:(

I'm sorry, but your post contains zero information that would be helpful. How can anyone offer their help without having any info about your computer?

You're lucky it even runs. FSX is a very resource demanding program. Unless you're content to using FSX with all sliders to the left, you're going to need a healthier machine.

I second that.
I used to own a 64 X2 6400+ and most sliders were fairly low.

Well, it's going to be a while when I get a new computer because this PC I have had since Christmas 2007. Plus, I don't have that kind of money to either buy a new computer or get one built for me from a tech computer store.

Then maybe FS9 would be a wiser choice?

Coldkiller,
Don't give up yet on FSX. My last computer was an AMD 5200+ running XP at 2.6 ghz with only 2 gig memory and it would run FSX ok. Start with Bojotes automatic tuning program here: http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html. Also look at Nick N's guide which you can find here: http://www.simforums.com/Forums/topic29041.html. You can try either or both to get the best performance from your system. Defrag your hard drive. If you don't have a fancy aftermarket system, use the default in Windows or download the free Advanced System Care from www.iobit.com. Limit the FPS to around 25 or 26 and remember you don't want high FPS at the expense of smooth operation. Once you have it running ok, you can experiment with increasing the sliders to get what works for you. Keep your expectations realistic and don't be too aggressive with the sliders. You can always go to FS9 if nothing else works for you. Hope this helps.
