I'm running an ATI Rage Fury Pro. I dismantled an older desktop with a blown Mobo and removed an old 3DFX Voodoo3 3000 board. Would I be better off putting the 3DFX Voodoo in my PC for FS2002? (3DFX is belly up, but drivers are still online.)

I've never seen anything that looks like fog with my ATI card. Low vis looks like someone draped a white shower curtain over the distant landscape. Is that normal? I have to run FSUIPC to see any cloud cover at all with the ATI and popping out of the clouds is a sudden "pop" indeed. Would the Voodoo give me a more gradual reveal of the runway when breaking under the ceiling?

Just a word of warning: THE VOODOO CANNOT RENDER THE NEW DETAILS AND REFLECTIONS THAT MAKE FS2002 BEST!

Can't say much about the ATI though. Someone know anything about the ATI?

ATI has "issues" with FS2002. This has been well documented here.

So is there a "perfect" card for FS2002 that doesn't cost $$$$$$$ ?
