Im sure there is a way to get rid of it if you find the related sound folder ( i think main FSX sound folder )
Just a little patience and you will find that sound file.

Thanks for asking that question! I'm going to go find and delete that file too!
Not only that one, But I've deleted these annoying one's also!
GPWS_Dont_Sink, GPWS_Pull_Up, GPWS_Sink_Rate, GPWS_too_low_gear_up, GPWS_too_low_flaps_up and GPWS_too_low_terrain.
Just goto "My Computer > Program Files > Microsoft Games > Microsoft FSX > Sounds. Scroll down to "G" and you'll see them.

forgot to say that it would be good not no delete it, just rename it like..: "nameofthefile.wavback "
Never delete original files.

Why delete the sound files? There is no need.
You can turn them off. Just look for the keyboard command for GPWS, you can toggle it on and off. There is only 1 item in the list of controls named GPWS.
Or delete/rename the warnings that you don't want to hear.

Or change the numbers in the aircraft.cfg under the [GPWS] so you'll only hear that warning if you sink faster than xxxx feet/min. (default might be 1000, chage it to 5000 or something - you get the point)

Yeah. I find it useful to be able to toggle it for the aircraft that dont use it.

LOL...I guess I got a little "delete happy!" No worries. SIM's still working fine. I know I'll never have to toggle-or reset-or hear any of those again!

You could alternatively fly the plane properly... you don't get those messages then :P they're warnings for a reason.

This is a bug with some aircraft in FSX. "Dont Sink" is a mode 3 alert, meaning the GPWS thinks you're taking off and losing altitude.

Its also dependant on your power settings, with toga or climb power selected, the bitching betty comes up if you're descending too quickly.
