beats the heck out of x-plane carrier, got much more than just a HUD and a compass
Took me an hour just to line up the carrier with XPlanes
, I made my first traps on this on just after 2 passes, one flyby,one bolter(forget the hook). then wire 3 for 2.0, I think I came in a little heavy, it was a little hard to tell from the replay, only one view there
This one even let's you fly with traffic, or just practice dogfighting on, no damage though, but you can keep chasing them, and the don't shoot back
Has Real 3d free look virtual cockpit ,waypoints, NAV computers, meatball, ILS ,LSO,
Even working glideslope indicators
HOTAS style UI, and working cockpit buttons!!
It called 'marine aviator'
Looks like the first release from a very indy developer. I think it's just one guy
It's definitely not the best looking,by today's standards, but it is the most tech correct sim iv ever seen on a cell phone, cockpit looks like some kind of f16/f18 hybrid. Reminds me of the old Falcon/hornet 3.0 stuff
Website says its going to add real combat missions soon, I think they should get a real 3D artist first, and maybe some optional HUDs,
hey...but at least it's not as offensive to experienced pilots as x-carrier is
