Hi,

I tested this airport quite a bit before I made a flight and everything worked great. Then today I flew from TJSJ to KSJC in the PMDG NGX 800(streatched the range a bit for the 800!). When I got on final at sunset half the airport was underground and the runway lights were flashing on and off! I could barely make out where to land and as I taxied in under 3 feet of ground I wondered what the heck happened. I exited the sim and then went right back in with the ngx and no problems at all. I could not repeat it. This is a problem because this is my new domicile and the whole reason why I bought this from Imaginesim. I cant repeat the problem on purpouse and the last thing I want is to fly back from someplace a long ways away and have the best part; the landing, ruined again. I am running FS Global 2010X with FSX and win7 64.

Did you try their forums? Maybe there's a fix for it there?

It looks like they do not have a forum. This poor guy has my exact problem.

It only happened when I flew from TJSJ. Every time I start at SJC it worked fine. I even tried starting at SFO and slewed over and perfect.

Your system gets overloaded after the longer flight on the NGX, and can't handle anymore to properly load the airport scenery (maybe on the edge of OOM ?).
Need to lower some sliders, or search for fixes for OOM error. What are your specs btw ?

Some folks, including me, save the flight before descent on a long flight just in case. At least I can complete it.
It happens very rarely, but, a CTD or graphics anomoly can definately ruin a flight. I'm guessing that pausing the sim may also allow the system to catch up.
I only have 2GB of RAM and a 1GB video card, so I made sure my virtual memory(Page File) had at least 2GB available, which seemed to help.
Another thing I do to help my performance challenged system is set the FSX priority to above normal, or high, using Task Manager. Above normal priority still allows you to do something other than fly, while high pretty much limits you to the sim. Win 7 won't allow me to set it to real time. Assuming it would have to be a system app for that...Don
